Sram Rival AXS XPLR XG-1251 12Speed
Gravel-Specific Range. AXS Efficiency.
The Sram Rival XG-1251 is optimized for the XPLR ecosystem. By utilizing a 10-44T spread, it provides a "sweet spot" gearing that bridges the gap between road-style speed and mountain bike climbing power. The cassette is engineered with Full Pin™ technology, using high-strength stainless steel pins to join lightweight, stamped steel cogs. This results in a cassette that is light, incredibly durable, and exceptional at shedding mud and trail debris.
Why the XG-1251 is the Smart Gravel Choice:
-
Perfect Gearing Steps: The progression is designed to keep the jumps smaller in the high-speed cogs where cadence matters most, while offering larger jumps between the "bail-out" gears for when the terrain gets vertical.
-
X-Range™ Technology: By starting with a 10T cog, the XG-1251 allows for a smaller front chainring while maintaining a higher top-end speed, improving ground clearance and reducing weight.
-
Exceptional Durability: The nickel-chrome finish provides a high-end look and superior resistance to corrosion and wear, ensuring your shifting stays crisp through seasons of dust, grit, and power-washing.
-
Nickel-Chrome Finish: This protective coating not only makes the cassette look pro but also reduces friction, contributing to the quiet, smooth shifting the AXS system is known for.
-
XDR Driver Body Interface: Designed to fit the modern XDR standard, ensuring a more stable interface with your hub and allowing for the use of that essential 10T small cog.
-
Full Pin™ Construction: Delivers a lightweight and strong cassette that mimics the performance of much more expensive CNC-machined versions, making it the perfect upgrade for any AXS-equipped gravel bike.

If you’re building up a gravel rig like the Scott Addict 30 for endurance racing or bike packing, the durability of this steel construction is actually a benefit. It’s built to take a beating and keep shifting perfectly.
