Unlike traditional "hollow tube" extenders that simply sit over your valve, these are designed specifically for Removable Core Presta valves. By moving the actual valve core to the end of the extender, you maintain full control over tire pressure and sealant application without the messy leaks or unreliable seals common with cheaper alternatives.
