Forged Reliability. Versatile Control.

The FSA Omega Stem is 3D-forged and CNC-machined from 6061/T6 aluminum. This manufacturing process aligns the grain structure of the metal, resulting in a stem that is incredibly resistant to the high-leverage forces of sprinting and climbing. With its classic 4-bolt faceplate design, it distributes clamping pressure evenly across the handlebars, protecting delicate carbon or lightweight alloy bars from stress risers.

Why the Omega is a Cockpit Classic:

  • 3D Forged Strength: Unlike cast stems that can be brittle, the 3D forging process ensures a high strength-to-weight ratio, providing a solid steering feel that eliminates "cockpit flex" during aggressive riding.

  • Flip-Flop Geometry: Featuring a ±6° rise, the Omega can be flipped to either give you a more comfortable, upright endurance position or a slammed, aerodynamic race profile.

  • Chromoly Hardware: Equipped with heavy-duty Chromoly steel bolts that resist stripping and corrosion, ensuring your cockpit stays secure through seasons of sweat and road spray.

  • Clean, Minimalist Aesthetic: Finished in a sleek bead-blasted black anodizing with subtle laser-etched graphics, it complements any frame color without clashing with your existing components.

  • Universal 31.8mm Clamp: Designed for the modern standard, ensuring compatibility with virtually all road, gravel, and mountain bike handlebars on the market.

  • Weight-Conscious Engineering: While built for durability, the Omega remains competitively light, making it an excellent choice for riders looking to maintain a balanced, high-performance build.

The Alegro Perspective: When we’re doing a custom build or a fit correction, we reach for this stem because it’s incredibly predictable. It’s stiff enough for a criterium racer but affordable enough for a daily commuter. If you’re experiencing a "creaky" front end or if your current stem feels like it’s flexing when you’re out of the saddle, the Omega is the solid, reliable upgrade you’ve been looking for.
