Unlike modern standalone tapes, the Velox Jantex 76 Tape is a premium woven cotton-mesh tape designed to be used in conjunction with liquid tubular cement (like Velox Tubasti). This tape acts as a high-strength structural binder. When saturated with liquid glue, the cotton fibers absorb the adhesive to form a thick, rubberized physical gasket that perfectly bridges the gap between your tubular tire's base tape and the deep center channel of your rim bed.
