The Tektro RX 1.0 features a forged aluminum lever blade paired with a lightweight cast aluminum bracket. Because it is a "short-pull" lever, it provides the correct leverage ratio for Road Calipers, Cantilever Brakes, and Mini-V Brakes. It delivers a firm, tactile braking feel that avoids the "mushy" or dangerous lack of power often experienced when using standard mountain bike levers with road-specific calipers.
