By housing the system's "brains" and power in one unit tucked safely inside your seatpost, Shimano has created a cleaner, more aerodynamic, and more resilient setup that is virtually impervious to the elements.

• Internal Integration: Designed to be hidden inside the seatpost or seat tube using a simple rubber grommet. This keeps the battery protected from road spray, vibration, and accidental impact while maintaining the bike's clean silhouette.

• Centralized Charging: In the new 12Speed ecosystem, you no longer remove the battery to charge. The BT-DN300 is charged directly through the port on the Rear Derailleur, making maintenance effortless.

• Firmware Intelligent: Works in perfect sync with the E-TUBE PROJECT app, allowing you to check battery levels, customize shifting speeds, and update system firmware via Bluetooth from your smartphone.
