SeaSucker HUSKE Plugs
Universal Compatibility. Instant Adaptability.
The SeaSucker HUSKE Plugs are precision-molded from high-strength, glass-filled nylon, designed to snap directly into the HUSKE base found on the Talon, Mini Bomber, and Bomber racks. Whether you are switching from a vintage road bike with quick releases to a modern "Boost" mountain bike, these plugs provide a surgical fit that eliminates fork play and ensures a secure highway-speed haul.
Why the HUSKE System is a Cyclist’s Best Friend:
-
Future-Proof Design: No need to buy a new rack when you buy a new bike. Just swap the $20 plugs to match your new axle diameter and width.
-
Tool-Free Swaps: The plugs are designed to snap in and out of the aluminum HUSKE base in seconds, allowing you to transport different bikes on the same trip with zero hassle.
-
High-Strength Nylon Construction: Engineered to be incredibly durable while remaining "softer" than your bike’s fork dropouts, ensuring no metal-on-metal wear or scratching on your expensive equipment.
-
Comprehensive Standard Support: Available for every major hub standard on the market, from 9mm QR to 20mm Downhill thru-axles.
-
Precision Tolerance: Molded to exact metric specifications to ensure your thru-axle slides through with a "factory-fit" feel every time.

The Alegro Perspective: In the shop, we call HUSKE plugs the "anti-obsolescence insurance." Before HUSKE, if you bought a new bike with a different axle, you often had to buy a whole new rack or a clunky, expensive adapter. Now, you just keep a small pouch of these in your glovebox. Pro tip: If you aren't sure which one you need, just measure the diameter of the hole in your fork (9, 12, 15, or 20mm) and the distance between the forks (100 or 110mm). It’s that simple.
Swap the Plug. Save the Rack. Ride Anything with SeaSucker.
