The ESI Chunky Grips are designed to be "set and forget." Because they are made of porous silicone, they actually mold to your hands over time, creating a custom fit. They are also non-porous and "tacky," meaning they stay grippy even when soaked with sweat or rain, and they don't get slippery like some rubber compounds.

The Alegro Perspective: In the shop, we call these "the mechanic's secret." They take a bit of effort to install (use plenty of isopropyl alcohol!), but once they are on, they are the most comfortable grips you can buy for an XC or marathon bike.
