At Alegro Cycles, we pride ourselves on providing precision mechanical work and dedicated, one-on-one service. To ensure we can maintain our high standards and respect the time of our expert technicians, we have established the following policy regarding service appointments, custom builds, and special orders.

1. Service Appointments (Tune-ups, Waxing, Repairs)

We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule or cancel a service appointment, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice.

Cancellations with 24+ Hours Notice: No fee will be charged.

Late Cancellations (Less than 24 hours): A $50 service fee may be applied to your account or deducted from any pre-paid service.

No-Shows: If you miss an appointment without notice, we reserve the right to charge a fee equivalent to 50% of the estimated labor cost.

2. Custom Builds & Overhauls

For high-end custom builds and major overhauls:

Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your build slot and begin the procurement of parts.

Work in Progress: Once mechanical work has commenced, any cancellation will result in the forfeiture of the labor deposit and a restocking fee for any specific components ordered for the build.

3. Special Orders

Alegro Cycles carries a curated selection of premium components. If we order a specific part for you that is not part of our standard inventory:

Payment: Full payment or a significant deposit is required at the time of order.

Returns/Cancellations: Special orders are subject to a 25% restocking fee if canceled after the item has been shipped by our supplier. Some highly specialized or custom-painted items may be final sale.

4. Why We Have This Policy

Our technicians, and our service team dedicate specific blocks of time to each bike to ensure the "dedication to detail" that Alegro Cycles is known for. When an appointment is canceled at the last minute, it prevents another rider from getting their bike back on the road.

5. Late Pickups

Due to limited space in our location, we ask that bikes be picked up within 48 hours of service completion. Bikes left longer than 7 days without prior arrangement may be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
